Decided to try my hand at perler bead sprites finally. They were my original inspiration behind the needlepoint sprites that I do but I didn't really know much about perler beads. Still getting the hang of it but I do like the possibilities they have. The main problem I have with doing needlepoint sprites is the lack of colors I have available to me. With perler beads it seems like that shouldn't be an issue. The perler sprites don't look as good up close in my opinion but they can get very detailed. Perler sprites also don't take quite as long. I can probably finish three in the time it takes me to do one needlepoint sprite. I finished my first ones today but over-ironed it. I will post a pic anyways and just hope the rest turn out a little bit better.
